Tierra Bonita Elementary School

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Tierra Bonita Elementary! I am so excited to begin another year with our incredible Cheetah community. This year, our theme is Better Together, a reminder that when we work in partnership, support one another, and celebrate each other’s strengths, we create the very best environment for students to thrive.

We are proud to continue offering engaging programs that support the whole child, including Project Lead the Way (PLTW), Japanese language instruction, STEM, Physical Education, Visual Art, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). These enriching experiences are possible because of the continued support of our amazing Foundation and PTA. We are incredibly thankful for their dedication to providing exceptional opportunities for all students at Tierra Bonita.

This year, we’re also excited to expand our programs with the addition of a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) class and a TK/K Structured Support class, while continuing to support our on-campus Pre-K program. These additions allow us to build a strong and inclusive foundation for our youngest learners.

We’re looking forward to collaborating with our neighbors at Twin Peaks Middle School, strengthening connections that support smooth transitions and shared learning between schools.

Family and community partnership remains at the heart of everything we do. We will continue to welcome families to our Friday Flag assemblies and provide daily communication through Smore newsletters. My door is always open, and I welcome ongoing communication and feedback, your voice matters, and together, we make our school stronger.

Here’s to a joyful, meaningful, and connected school year. We are truly Better Together.

Warmly,
Dr. Shannon Ramsinghani
